Anyone who, from his/her profession, provides support services, assists or works with people in a helping role and at the same time runs the risk of getting physically or emotionally hurt in the line of duty resulting in psychosocial suffering.

Some examples of such groups are, but are not limited to: police forces, ambulance / emergency medical services personnel, firefighters, accident and emergency room personnel,  military personnel, people working in transport services, prison guards, security guards and parking attendants, emergency telephone operators (112, 911), coast guards and so on.
